All of these are true. I love visiting the US. I love the friendly chat with strangers. I always meet lovely people when I’m out and about.
As for the portions, omg!!! When travelling with someone we always order one thing and split it, even burgers. The exception is Veselka Rrstaurant in the East Village where I can sit all day till I’ve eaten it all and still get takeout . Shout out to Veselka!

If I’m alone I usually just get the appetizer unless I’m willing to carry a doggy bag back to my hotel.

I look forward to my next visit to the USA. For all its problems it truly is a great place to visit.
