Secondly, bravo on this thoughtful essay. I agree. I think a lot of the faux outrage over hairstyles and restaurants is a smokescreen by people who want to feel like they’re doing “something “ about exploitation but are not in the least prepared to give up their ultra convenient lifestyle- cellphones, instant delivery, cheap holidays etc.
Hypocrites, really.
