I partially agree. I think we (the West ) are going through a huge change and it's affecting relationships.
But believe me, non western societies are NOT polyamorous. They are polygamous. Very different.
basically what that means, member can have + wives and lovers , women cannot, and the punishments include: permanently losing access to her children; being stoned to death; being sent home to live as a servant in her fathers house; just being murdered, as a "crime of passion "
