Of this is true - and I've no reason to suppose it isn't- I can only say that it's weak. Men used to pride themselves on their word. Duels were fought over it. Being weak and a coward was considered the worst thing.
Today the more people consume superhero films and comics the less courageous they actually are.

I also worry that this weak behaviour isn't limited to personal relationships, but may spill over into professional life. I mean. If you're unwilling to call it like it is to a date, what's to stop you slipping into treating a colleague or a client the same way?


I really have no time for people who have no courage and whose word is not their bond: neither personally nor professionally.
